I (ロブ) wrote three short vignettes from the creation of our upcoming album for mySoundposter, documenting the initial frustrations of chasing the perfect recording, the appearance of new songs halfway through the process and the recklessness with which we produced the final version.
Thanks to the team at mySoundposter for giving us the platform to tell this story, hope you enjoy reading it!

Autumn started officially on the 23rd September, but the weather's still pretty nice here. Anyhow, here's a sweet, reflective and somewhat melancholy autumnal playlist for you to enjoy.
P.S. If you like it, please do follow the playlist and the Sandtimer Spotify account.
Fond memories from our Canadian tour. Here's a live performance of our song 'Loner' as we stroll through Wabamun Lake Provincial Park, Alberta.
Really enjoyed playing at Apples and Pears Bar last night alongside the wonderful music of Katie O'Malley and Stone Jets.
P.S. Thanks to Given from Stone Jets for this photo of our set! Check out their music at: https://goo.gl/R9K7KD and try and catch them on one of their remaining UK tour dates before they head back to South Africa.
Before we went off on our Canadian tour, I did a quick interview with the wonderful blog And So She Thinks about the new album and influences. You can read it here- https://andsoshethinks.wordpress.com/…/introducing-sandtim…/
Thanks so much to Francesca for the thoughtful questions!
Many thanks also to CHILLFILTR.com for featuring Time? Why? Explain on the website with a really nice write-up: https://chillfiltr.com/…/2018/8/6/sandtimer-time-why-explain
Thanks to The Cabin Camberley for hosting our performance yesterday, it was a fun way to spend a Sunday afternoon!
Below is their livestream of the first half- you can see the rest of the show on The Cabin's own page.
Hope everyone is having a good weekend. To make it even better, come along and see us play tomorrow at Camberley, fresh off our Canadian tour! Starting at about 4pm, a nice late afternoon jam for ya
Welcome to the new week, everyone.
Simon's a bit of an Adventure Time fan, and the show is ending today, so we thought we'd record an acoustic cover of one of the songs from it. Really happy with how this recording came out!
Song composed and originally performed by Rebecca Sugar.
We are checking out of our last accommodation in Canada to make our way to the airport. We will miss this country! Thanks so much to Ben and Amanda at BAH! House Concerts and Karina for kindly hosting a great show in Spruce Grove on Friday- and to all the other wonderful hosts, venues and audiences we were so lucky to perform for on this tour. It's been an epic trip! Hopefully see you all again before too long!
