Just to say thanks all who organised, promoted, helped, attended and/or listened to any of our most recent round of gigs.
Before The Goldrush was epic- a great event that I've wanted to play for a long time. The Old Queen's Head was a great venue, with brilliant sound and warmly appreciative audience. Thursday at the Willow Tree was great as usual- thanks to Jay for great sound as usual and to the audience for singing along and all that good stuff. Finally, major thanks to Sarah and Alice at Illuminate Festival for having us along to play at Wimbledon Studio Theatre yesterday- it's not often that we perform unplugged but it's always a really fun and interesting experience, made worthwhile by a friendly and enthusiastic crowd, great ambience and brilliant headline act, Leao. While we finish up the recordings and work out what to with them we're having a month or so of quiet before a storm of summer gigs, so stay tuned.

Greetings from the eye of the storm The last week has been great fun- with plenty of rehearsals for new material, two Landahn gigs (one with Before The Gold Rush and one with eAR Music- thanks to everyone who came to those, you were great), and the final plans being drawn up around the release of our new record(s). Tonight we're saying "Hello, Willow", and returning to the place where all the madness started 9 months ago... The Willow Tree on Durngate Terrace in Winchester. We'll be playing sometime after 10. We're also raising money for two important charities: Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research and Alzheimer's Society UK on Sunday 12th April with a gig at Wimbledon's Studio Theatre, supporting Leao |
