We stumbled upon a lovely write-up of 'Dormant' from our new album 'everything is on hold' on the blog 'A Little More Vodka, A Little Less Milk.' Thanks to Steven for including us- it is a really nice surprise and much appreciated.

UK, we are back, exactly 19h54m and 159 games of aeroplane solitaire after setting off to the Nanaimo-Vancouver ferry this morning. Ran into a bit of turbulence as we flew over the British Isles... what has been going on here
Thanks so much to the team at Ground Zero Acoustic Lounge for having us to perform on our last night in Canada- we were really grateful to the audience for a warm and enthusiastic reception and to Bill for crystal-clear sound. Thanks in general to everyone on this tour who made the experience fun, interesting, inspiring and rewarding- everyone who hosted a performance, accommodated us, came and watched the gigs and gave us kind words of encouragement. It makes these trans-Atlantic leaps of faith both possible and rewarding and I am sure that this will not be the last such trip! Morning in Nanaimo
Blimey... today is our last full day in Canada. We have just one more gig tonight and then we will be making our way back by ferry to Vancouver and flying off into the sunrise. It has been a really epic tour. Thanks to the Ghostly Hounds and The Vault Cafe for a great night last night. Tonight we are excited to return to Ground Zero Acoustic Lounge in Parksville. We will be going all in for this final gig! Thanks so much to all the volunteers, performers and audience last night at VFMS Victoria Folk Music Society- we loved playing for you and hearing music by some other really talented performers. It was a really unique experience for us.
That was the 7th gig in a row for us on this tour, so we are now taking a trip to Tofino on the west coast for a few days. Our next shows are Thursday 12th at The Vault Cafe in Nanaimo with Ghostly Hounds and Friday 13th at Ground Zero Acoustic Lounge in Parksville. https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=2402346013177966

Thanks so much to Jen, Jane and Larry and the whole team at Carlin Hall Community Association in Tappen BC for a wonderful reception last night- we were honoured to join you to help fundraise for the building and to play some of our music for you. Really looking forward to seeing the Rarebirds again and to a really fun evening of music.
